New Bridge over Oak Creek

Road Construction is finally finished into Sedona. All intersections are now round-a-bouts allowing traffic to move quickly and this new bridge was constructed beside Tlaquepaque making it much easier to cross the road plus giving me a new photo op:-)

Looking for Shadows

Looking for Shadows is the latest at home photo challenge I posted to my Digital Meetup Group. So many in our group leave for the summer right about now so these challenges are a way for them to stay in contact and share photos while they’re gone. Gotta love Meetup! Here’s one of my first finds. Actually….I notice these shadows at least once at month when I attend our digital club meetings but have never taken the time to capture them until yesterday. Pretty cool!

Great Sand Dunes

Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve was nothing like we expected! I thought Death Valley had diverse topography but this place has so much more. The wetlands and grasslands were the most surprising and there’s a river running through it! (photo tomorrow) We already have plans to go back late next spring when the river is flowing and there is said to be even more wildlife than we saw this time. The only downside is the distance to get there.
