Leaves Interrupted

Getting inspired by old fall photos from West Fork Trail. (Shot in 2001 with my Minolta Dimage 7.)

Maples in Arizona

Word has it that the Maples along the West Fork Trail are turning! Stay tuned.
(Fall Color Album)

West Fork Fall Color

Oak Creek reflections on the West Fork Trail north of Sedona. No…not from today. This was shot in 2002. I’ll be happy if all we find is a little color like this.

Fall Color in Infrared

I’m heading to Sedona in a few days and wishing and hoping for some fall color but if not, I can always fall back on Infrared! The young couple in the background is at L’Auberge de Sedona which is right across Oak Creek from my campground…..a Gorgeous and very romantic setting. I sometimes encounter people eating breakfast by the creek and I’m sure they think I’m spying on them 🙂

Tlaquepaque Chapel

I try to capture this cross a little differently each time we go to Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Villiage. This time I decided to add a texture to the image giving it a late day look.

Parting Shot

One last shot from Tlaquepaque. It’s a great place for architectural details. Shot handheld in HDR. Processed in Photomatix

Oak Creek Impression

Oak Creek captured hand held with slight intentional camera movement. A cloudy day contributed the slow shutter speed. ISO 100, 1/5th sec at f/32.

The Banks of Oak Creek

I love the tangles of Sycamore roots along the banks of Oak Creek especially in Infrared.
