Oaks

An infrared image from Los Osos Oaks Reserve in California. It was captured in 2004 at a workshop with a borrowed Canon 15mm lens. Because of the crop factor of the D60, there was almost no distortion. I ordered the lens right then and there 🙂

  1. Lovely. TLB and are headed to Montana de Oro SP in a couple of weeks and this is one of the sites on my list. A friend suggests that this is a far better place to photograph than the Elfin forest in Morro Bay SP. Your photo only underscores that. I can’t wait.

  2. Thanks, Jim! The Elfin Forest is a different experience so it’s really not fair to compare but in my opinion, it’s not that photo worthy. Los Osos Oaks, on the other hand, is magical!
