Great shot ofDeers Ears. In the Flagstaff area we generally refer to this flower as Monument Plant. It is great when you come accross a area with 40 or 50 plants as I do on a fores troad near FR 151 and FR 418 north of twon.
Thanks, Dave! Yes…I saw it referred to as Monument Plant too. Like most plants, I think locals have their favorite name, don’t you?
