Don’t Forget Your Camera
I am never without a camera and rarely let a day go by without taking at least one photograph. This habit is the end result of a photo-day-project I started in 2007.
Needless to say, using one of my cameras every day has made every camera function extremely familiar. This means no matter the subject or lighting situation, I can set my camera with hardly any thinking. At the end of 2007, I published a small Blurb book featuring the daily images and that one book turned into 5! (see above) (My Blurb Bookstore)
The older I get, the more determined I am to put my favorite photos in books. I would much rather leave books behind than hard drives full of images no one will ever look at. I have published some more on Blurb but I have many waiting to be finished. Other things keep eating my time! However, I’m working on managing my time and hope to have several books done by the end of the year. Time will tell.
