Santa in a Mac
Apparently, Santa uses a Mac? Actually…maybe not anymore since the model in this photo is now an antique! Thanks to my friend Jennifer W. who says it is probably a LCII..whatever that is 🙂

You’re probably tired of seeing them but I never tire of moving my camera while shooting holiday lights. Swing your camera, doe-see-doe 🙂

There’s a COLD front moving in and we’re about to have our first freezing temperatures this week. I wanted to cover my most tender (non-native) plants this evening but it’s raining. I’m hoping they can tolerate one night. Anyway….the cold made me happy we went to Luminaria on Thursday night. This photo is from last year when it was especially cold during the event. But they had these wonderful fire pits in several places to keep everyone warm.
This image was taken with my Droidx held tight against the arm on my chair.

Every year, Sedona’s Los Abrigados hotel puts on a spectacular light display called Red Rock Fantasy to benefit local charities. Last night, we experienced the best display ever! As you can see, I prefer shaking and/or zooming my camera at the lights. The varying movement of the lights is controlled by the direction I move my camera. No tripod. ISO ranged from 200 to 800 with shutterspeeds from 1/8th sec to 3 seconds. To see more images, check my Holiday Album on Google Plus. Fun 🙂

Every year at this time, Flagtaff’s Little America Inn hangs a million lights in their trees. Here’s one of my interpretations. If you enjoy light displays, it’s worth a drive up! The display continues through Jan 1.

I made this APPLE CRISP yesterday afternoon, took a few bites and then covered it with foil hoping it would last til Thanksgiving. Here is what I saw this morning! Since I know it wasn’t the cats, someone else obviously thought it was delicious too 🙂
Note: I added finely chopped walnuts to the topping which wasn’t crisp but it didn’t matter. And anticipating questions from my cat friends….I bought the little Kitty Angels about 20 years ago and each has a name and edition number on it but no artist name, unfortunately. I would have bought more!
