Sunflower Mines
Larry Levy, our mining expert friend, led us on a fabulous hike to see the Sunflower Mines this past Sunday. My SUV did some serious 4 wheeling! I especially enjoyed your Sundflower Mine photos–beautiful. Likewise the mine history as well. I first discovered this mine on a trail ride with my kids back in the 70’s. Later I took my 4H riders there on our way up Mt. Ord where we camped overnight in this really beautiful, pristsine area. Thanks for bringin back the memories.
