Reata Pass Squared
Reata Pass is a great photo op just a few minutes from my house so I took my DroidX there yesterday to get a photo for today. Sadly, the buildings will be cleared for development in the near future so if you live in the area, you might want to get up here before it’s gone. I’m continuing to play with different camera app effects. It’s addictive 🙂

Oh no, don’t tell me Reata Pass will be gone. I haven’t been there since we moved to the West side, Peoria. But I have so many wonderful memories of Reata Pass. We rode our horses up there once, but usually drove and had wonderful dinners. Sad to see it will soon be gone.

Shirley…yes…very sad. We learned of its fate a couple of years ago. It’s slow to take place, though, so I’m taking lots of photos.
PS regarding “straight from the camera”. There is indeed no post processing but in order to get a shot like this, you do need to tell your phone what you want. Vignette, high contrast B/W, Grain, Square frame, etc. After instructions, the camera does all the work. So much fun. It’s no wonder so many pros are getting into this.
