Darn I really need to remember that this is not G+ and if I go back and click on an image whilst I’m halfway through typing a comment, I’ll lose the comment!
I was saying I loved all your images, that you are really gifted, that you take fantastic shots with all your cameras and how I love the light shining through the trees. Also I wondered if the baby trees had been planted or if they are new growth that appeared after the fire?
Also I LOVE your inverted colour images in part 1!!
Thanks so much, Mandy! I’m trying to come up with fall photos a little more interesting than what everyone does so I’m happy you like them. The baby aspens came up by themselves and are doing so in all the areas devastated by fire a few years ago. I hope to hike closer to these particular babies before I leave. It would be fun to be in the middle of them!
Part one are not inverted color images, by the way. They are captured with an infrared camera which translates greens into white. Actually, the file straight from the camera is redish/orange. A tonal adjustment produces what you saw. I really love it.
