A favorite from my archives, this was taken while walking with a Canon PowerShot past a large
shrub covered with lights. I swung the camera up, down and around. Exposure was 1.6 seconds.

measurable percipitation
It rained all day yesterday and last night. Very exciting since we haven’t had anything measurable all year.
Scary night, though. Wind gusts to 70mph, hail and lightening! My landscaping survived. Whew 🙂
Here’s an impression from my suv yesterday.
cat walk
I think Cloe knew I wasn’t feeling well which is why she hurried through her walk last night 🙂
Canon G10, held thigh high panning Cloe as she walked. Surprisingly, several shots were good!

chihuly abstracts
A shot created by moving my camera during exposure.
If you squint, you might be able to make out Chihuly’s work 🙂
These “scorpion tails” are all over the garden but I have yet
to get a shot I’m happy with so I usually end up experimenting
with filters. Here I played with Framing Pear’s Mr. Contrast.
oak creek heart
Faces are always fun to find but hearts are even better 🙂 This one was sitting in Oak Creek not far from Cathedral Rocks in Sedona.

Chris hunts Cleo while Cleo hunts lizards yesterday afternoon.
