It rained all day yesterday and last night. Very exciting since we haven’t had anything measurable all year.
Scary night, though. Wind gusts to 70mph, hail and lightening! My landscaping survived. Whew 🙂
Here’s an impression from my suv yesterday.
You know I like this kind of stuff! Gaze at the photo long enough and it feels like you’re zooming forward. Or maybe it’s just me… And 70mph winds? A gentle breeze, lady! Try 95! Seriously, however, it IS scary — I know how you must have felt.
P.S. Love the turquoise/cyan strip at the top. Do we choose our vehicles based on the color of the sun shield? I remember a student of mine, Bugsy, at dawn in the Alabama Hills. Too cold to shoot outside, she sat in our Explorer and shot through the windows. She wanted a filter just like our car windows, it was so pretty. I can see it now: the Ford 81D (for “dawn”) filter. They do need to diversify, in case that car thing goes belly-up. — CL
