We’ve been seeing Bobcats every day and yesterday saw a female with 2 kittens!
So…I try to walk the cats near the house but they quickly head toward the desert.
After all, there’s nothing to hunt in the driveway 🙂

Walks are never long enough as far as Cleo is concerned so he always complains when it’s time to go in.

You don’t actually “walk” a cat. You “follow” a cat. This makes for a lot of very slow moving and sitting while they stalk lizards. The positive is the time it presents for reading or for playing with my camera. I am trying to get inspired to use my Lensbaby more and also shooting more infrared so here is a shot with both implemented.

Each cat has a different agenda when we open the door. Cleo is a hunter and will sit in the same spot until he spots something move and then he goes into stalking mode. It takes patience which is Chris’ forte so he takes charge of Cleo. On the other hand, Cloe has a route that circles the house so she keeps moving which is more to my liking.
