Flu, taxes and trip preparations result in yet another cat photo. This was taken just inches away with a Canon 10-22mm lens. There’s some distortion but I’m very impressed with how sharp the lens is.

Study partner
Final exam is tomorrow so I started studying very early this morning almost forgetting my photo of the day. I go outside; take several photos and then come back to this scene. Everything is a game to Cleo 🙂
Cleo and me
Not exactly the shot I had in mind but it’s tough to photograph Cleo while I’m trying to walk him!
IR HDR
High Dynamic Range photography is so much fun and when I get a result like this,
I’m ready to try more and more! The original scene had nearly four stops difference
in light so it was impossible to capture normally but it was perfect for HDR.
The Critic
Cleo loves my photography. Well…actually, he loves following
the cursor around the screen as I’m optimizing my images 🙂
Cloe
Cloe is Cleo’s sister. She thought it only fair that she be introduced too. Brother and sister were rescued in September of 2006 from a shelter. I named Cleo first after the cat in Pinocchio only to realize later that the cat’s name was Figaro. But my mistake stuck and I then reversed the last two letters of his name for his sister. She gets tired of having to spell it for people, though, since most want to put in an h after the c.
