No…I’m not referring to the era. We’re on the California Coast and it’s foggy and 50 degrees this morning. Here’s a grab shot from our balcony last night.

Wool is not something most people think of when they see a cactus but that is what this fuzzy stuff is called. This is a Golden Barrel Cactus (Echinocactus grusonii) that I planted last week. Very slow but extremely drought tolerant.

This was sunset last night at seen through silhouetted trees. You’ve heard of a sundog, right? Mirroring the image revealed a suncat with his tongue sticking out 🙂
