This guy greeted me at the very beginning of my first hike at Bandelier Nat’l Monument last month. He made lots of impressive and threatening moves but I wasn’t dissuaded. I later guided him to the underbrush so he wouldn’t get tromped on. Happy Halloween big guy!

I’m busy working on a project and almost forgot my photo today. So I walked around the yard quickly and found this web. I’ll bet it looks great at first light so I’ll check it out again.
