That’s pretty amazing depth of field for f/4. Excellent photo. Love the elongated highlight on the bee’s eye. — Carol Leigh
Thanks! The highlight was due to a bright morning. As for DOF…it’s actually pretty shallow. If you look closely, only a small section of the bee is in focus but it’s the right section! It’s that tried and true photography rule working….get the eye in focus and all else works!
OMG – OMG – OMG !! I can only imagine how you felt when you captured this. Thanks for sharing that “rule” about putting the eye in focus. Will try to remember that one.
