Lots of decorated trees, buildings, etc, but this icon of Sedona caught my eye.

Hiked up the back side of Cathedral Rocks and then down to Oak Creek this afternoon.
This is the first time I’ve photographed them from this side. Steep in places but short.

Family, friends, cats, health and a little fall color left over in Sedona. Lots to be thankful for 🙂

More shakin’ goin’ on 🙂

When I’m not looking for rock faces, I enjoy shaking my camera at desert plants 🙂

Awesome hike this morning! Elevation gain as about 900 feet in less than 2 miles which felt really steep to me.
Our destination was East End Junction in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. This is just below Toms Thumb.

Bluff, Utah was a very interesting stop with many photo ops so we’re eager to stay longer next time.
This cemetery was high above the town giving us a spectacular 360 degree view.

My first books arrived today and I’m thrilled with them! The quality of the paper and the color rendition is excellent.
In fact, images look exactly as they do on my monitor. The only disappointment is the books are really thin which
is emphasized by the soft cover. A hard cover would be nice but just too expensive.
