A sure sign of Fall….Flying Milkweed seeds and dried Sunflowers. (Canon N)<\/p><\/div>\n

I was pleasantly surprised to encounter a couple of butterflies!<\/p>\n

Western Pygmy Blue captured with my Galaxy Smartphone. Not a great photo but I wanted to show perspective using my hand and the Aspen leaf. I had positioned the leaf to make focusing easier for the phone but I ended up loving it. Wish I had done it with the higher resolution camera!<\/p><\/div>\n

An unusual pattern on this Aspen Leaf at Lockett Meadow. I need to stop collecting leaves! (Fuji X-E1<\/p><\/div>\n

Lockett Meadow Aspen with a sun star. All you do is use a very tiny aperture to make the star. (Fuji X-E1<\/p><\/div>\n

I’ve been having fun taking photos through a Glass Ball (I call it an Orb). I like holding the ball and thus having my fingers show in the images so it turned out to much more challenging than I thought. I held the ball in my left hand and either my Smartphone or Canon N in my right. Achieving auto focus did not always work but I ended up with quite a few winners and now I’m hooked!<\/p>\n

I titled this one “I See Fall Color in our Future!” This was my first idea and the most difficult so far but mostly because of the wind. (Canon N)<\/p><\/div>\n
