View along Interstate 17<\/p><\/div>\n

Driving up to Flagstaff took a little longer this time because of road construction but it still went fairly quickly with no long waits. Here are a few photos from the road.<\/p>\n

Heavy storm clouds were moving in so as soon as I got the RV set up, I headed out to scout a few locations for a Meetup I will be leading while here. I found this guy at my first stop.<\/p>\n

My favorite places didn\u2019t have as many flowers as years past so I headed to Lockett Meadow. The meadow was blanketed with Wildflowers! Most flowers are under a foot tall but so beautiful. It had started raining and was quite windy by this time but holding my finger on the shutter button gave me one image in focus.<\/p>\n

The following collage was created using flowers I photographed in the meadow. Considering they were captured in rain and wind. I\u2019m surprised any are in decent focus.<\/p>\n

Walking into the woods around the meadow, I spotted these two scenes:<\/p>\n

As I was viewing all my images from the day, I spotted a caterpillar that I did not notice when I took the photo. I will be looking for him and more bugs soon!<\/p>\n
